2026 Civil Protection Day

ACTION DAY IN FREIBURG ON 27 JUNE 2026 postponed

Due to current warnings of extreme heat issued by the German Weather Service, the Civil Protection Day in Freiburg scheduled for June 27, 2026, will not take place.

The Federal Ministry of the Interior and the host state of Baden-Württemberg have jointly announced this.

The BBK welcomes this decision. Protecting health is the top priority. A new date—expected to be in the autumn of 2026—is yet to be announced.
